Outreach Activities of KEA

Karnataka Evaluation Authority undertakes different types of outreach activities such as organizing one day sensitization workshops to officer at the State Secretariat and Head Offices, sharing the evaluation findings in the review meetings of with policy makers, organizing dissemination workshops on important evaluation studies, collaborating with national and international agencies on evaluations, delivering public lectures and so on. 
As a part of this, five one day sensitization workshops were held in April, 2013 at Bangalore. About 250 officers of nearly 50 departments participated in these workshops. Two major evaluation study findings were shared with Senior Civil Servants of the State Government. Lectures on evaluation were delivered at Administrative Training Institute at Mysore, Fiscal Policy Institute, Bangalore and a few other places. In-service offices and even probationers of State Civil Services and Central Civil Services were exposed to KEA lectures.  

About KEA

KEA is headed by a Senior State Government Officer in the Ranks of Secretary. Administrative oversight to KEA is provided by three Committees. The General Body headed by the State Chief Secretary decides the policy and strategy. The Governing Body headed by the Principal Secretary to monitors the working of KEA.. Read More+
